He was a former Director of Photara Technologies, a Business Manager for Dexcel N.Z, and a Director of R&D for DakoCytomation with project management responsibilities for developing laser-based cell sorting technology. Dr. Sharpe holds a Ph.D. from Waikato University

Dr. Lydia Villa-Komaroff is the Chief Scientific Officer at CytonomeST. During her 20 year research career, Dr. Villa-Komaroff has held positions at MIT, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts Medical School and Harvard Medical School. As a science administrator, she has been VP for Research at Northwestern University in Illinois and the Vice President for Research and Chief Operating Officer of Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research in Cambridge, MA. She also served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Transkaryotic Therapies.

Jack Lapidas is the Vice President of Business Development at CytonomeST. Mr. Lapidas previously led Coventor's business development efforts in its microfluidics and biotechnology division and has more than 10 years of executive level business development and marketing experience. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Cornell University.

Heather Ellerkamp is the Vice President of Finance at CytonomeST. Prior to joining CytonomeST as VP Finance, Ms. Ellerkamp was the Treasurer and Director of Finance for AutoImmune Inc, a biopharmaceutical company. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Susan Yadlon joined CytonomeST as the Director of Quality Assurance in March 2010. She has more than 20 years in Quality Systems for GXP & European compliance in medical devices, biologics and pharmaceuticals with a proven track record of agency approvals for process control systems. Ms. Yadlon has evaluated multiple companies’ non-compliance issues and implemented control systems that eliminated FDA citations in consent decrees and warning letters. Prior to joining CytonomeST she developed and enhanced quality systems for start-ups to worldwide Fortune 500 size companies, including standardization of corporate policies, programs and procedures.

Director of Manufacturing

Chris Negus joined CytonomeST as the Director of Manufaturing in December 2010. He has more than 17 years in manufacturing and manufacturing management with a proven track record in the manufacturing of complex medical devices. Mr. Negus has been responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes and documentation for FDA PMA/510K devices, and has managed teams responsible for production, installation and service of these products. Prior to joining CytonomeST, Chris worked for medical device companies including MediSpectra, SpectraScience, Palomar Medical Technologies and PLC Medical Systems.
