Technology Ethos

Cytonome was founded in 2009 on the premise of providing advanced solutions for cell purification needs.

By developing new technologies in breakthrough areas and platform design, Cytonome enables clinicians, scientists, researchers and cell production / pharmaceutical companies to extend how they can conduct their scientific and industrial processes. Building upon a strong intellectual property portfolio, Cytonome consistently targets application-specific cell purification platforms that are based on novel means of selecting and sorting cells. In doing so, the Cytonome instrument family addresses several unmet cell purification needs; greater accessibility of traditional sorting technologies by means of system size and price reduction, custom high speed sorting platforms by means of unique, novel system architectures and next-generation high-speed sterile cell sorting and collection by means of proprietary microfluidics technologies.

Multiple platforms display the breadth of Cytonome capabilities, from the world’s smallest, easiest-to-operate, application-specific cell sorter, through custom sorting designs and up to leading edge next-gen cell purification technologies. At its heart, Cytonome thinks about cell analysis and purification in novel ways, leveraging this approach to continue to further the advancement of cell analyses and therapies.
